An event organised by the José Afonso Association – Bruxelas, with the kind support of the Portuguese Embassy in Belgium and of the municipality of Saint Gilles.

Cantvs is a group formed in 2017, made up primarily of student and former student musicians from the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. Our repertoire consists of original arrangements of traditional Portuguese music, bringing to the stage well-known melodies and characteristics from different regions of Portugal. It is a personal approach transposed into another stylistic context, using elements of classical music and drawing on the diverse musical backgrounds and experiences of the group's members.
